- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Display your name on content you create
- Send verification codes to your email when you log in
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as required to operate the service.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the service to function:
- session_id - Keeps you logged in (expires when you log out or after inactivity)
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Cloudflare's infrastructure:
- Database hosted on Cloudflare D1
- Images stored on Cloudflare R2
- All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access - Request a copy of your data
- Rectification - Update your information through your account settings
- Deletion - Delete your account and all associated data through account settings
- Portability - Request your data in a portable format

Data Retention
- Account data - Kept until you delete your account
- Posts and comments - Kept until deleted by you or an admin
- Verification codes - Automatically deleted after 10 minutes
- Sessions - Expire after 30 days of inactivity
